  3. Since this is your first call to the home of GT POWER, let me take
  4. this opportunity to welcome you and make you acquainted with some of
  5. the things you will find here.
  6.  
  7. the Programmer's Workshop is a public access message system, offering
  8. a variety of software for downloading.  There is no validation required.
  9. As long as you don't abuse the system, you will be welcome.
  10.  
  11. GT is now operating in its Host Mode.  You are reading the contents
  12. of the GTNEWUSR.BBS file.  We are attempting to construct a modest
  13. BBS capability in GT.  At most places, if you are familiar with the
  14. program, you may stack multiple inputs on 1 line.  For example:
  15. at the main menu prompt, you may enter "R;1" to read message #1.
  16. However, you may not stack input to the K)ill command.
  17.  
  18. To gain initial access to the system, you must know one of the system
  19. passwords, chosen by the SYSOP.  If you do not know one, then you will
  20. be unable to gain entry.  Once past the system password, you will be asked
  21. to choose your personal password.  You will need to remember your personal
  22. password, it will be the password you use to gain entry on all subsequent
  23. calls.  REPEAT: the system password is used only to gain initial access to
  24. the system, once you have a personal password you will use it from then on.

  26. You may choose any combination of characters for your personal password,
  27. up to 20 characters may be used, however there are a few rules: 1) the
  28. word CLASS is reserved and may not be used, and 2) you must not use blanks
  29. or the characters ";" or ",".  If you do, you will not be able to regain
  30. access to the system.

  32. To obtain a description of the files available for D/L, use the F)ile
  33. command.  It displays contents of the file named FILES.BBS.  Each directory
  34. available on the system contains its own FILES.BBS listing, so take
  35. a look after changing from one directory to another.

  37. REMEMBER: THE PUBLIC ACCESS PASSWORD IS "TEST".
